Case study takeaway: the reviewer Leaned on Perplexity's Comet browser assistant for repetitive booking forms. He gave it the details for a recycling centre appointment and told it to book. Comet worked through the forms with only occasional prompts asking whether he still wanted to finish the booking.
Trips involve lots of searching, forms and waiting on hold. This is an example of an agent handling that busywork so the traveller only has to approve the result. It is one of 63 sightings filed under Travel & Booking on Agent Sightings (number 56 by interest), and one of 10 involving Perplexity Comet.
How you could try it
Here is a reusable prompt, written by us in our own words, that captures the task. Paste it into Perplexity Comet or any similar agent and adjust the details to your situation.
Plan: fill out booking forms automatically. Compare 2–3 options (cost, timing, tradeoffs), recommend one, and do not book or pay yet.
Tip: Have the agent list options with prices and cancellation rules, and only book once you have said yes to one.
