Personal finance is full of jobs that are important but dull: categorising spending, gathering receipts, preparing for tax time, checking statements for odd charges. AI agents can do much of that sorting and reading, which makes staying on top of your money far less of a chore.

Because money is involved, the people who do this well are careful about permissions. They often give the agent exported statements or read-only access rather than full banking logins, and they make the final decisions on payments and filings themselves. The agent's job is to save time and catch things, not to move money unsupervised.
